Digital check in procedure
Israir Airlines and Tourism allows its passengers to check in using the online systems - digital check in All the information below may change from time to time. It is the passengers’ responsibility to inform themselves continuously about their flight. When entering the departure hall, go through the security check and proceed directly to passport control.
* Digital check-in is available for Israir flights departing from Ben Gurion Airport only. Digital check-in is performed on the Israir website - in the personal area - My Israir
* Digital check-in for international flights can be performed between 24 hours and 9 hours before departure. For international flights departing on Saturday and Sunday - can be made from 36 hours prior to departure.
* Digital check-in for domestic flights can be performed between 24 hours and 5 hours before departure.
* Digital check-in is available for Israir flights only (3 digits) to Eilat and selected international destinations (which vary from time to time), provided that the reservation was made on the Israir website or through travel agents / wholesalers using the distribution systems.
* On reservations made through travel agents, travel wholesalers, other booking sites, etc., in Israel and abroad - it is the passenger’s responsibility to receive from the party through which the reservation was made the credentials to My Israir in order to check-in online, as well as verify with that party that the passenger’s phone number has been communicated to Israir.
* To check in online, please have the details of the Israeli passports of all passengers included in the reservation ready. If all or some of the passengers hold a foreign passport / laissez-passer or any other document not issued in Israel, it is their responsibility to check with the embassy of the relevant destination country whether they require an entry visa to that country.
* It is the passenger's responsibility to ensure that the passengers’ passports (which they carry for the flight) are valid according to the policy of the Israeli Immigration Authority as well as the immigration authorities at their destination, including intermediate destinations if any, and to fill out the information in accordance with the passport details.
* It is the passenger’s responsibility to make sure that they possess all the required visas, including entry visas for the destination country or any intermediate destination. Details regarding the required visas are available at the embassy of the destination country.
* It is the responsibility of the passenger to make sure, prior to the flight, that they possess any additional certificates that may be required including, without limitation, medical certificates, medical certificate for pregnant passengers, notarized power of attorney for flying with a minor, etc.
* In the event that you are required to present certificates at the airport for flight safety reasons, please approach the check-in counters at the airport before proceeding to the border control area and the boarding gates.
* A boarding pass will appear at the personal area at the end of the digital check-in process. Please have it printed and bring it with you; alternatively, the boarding pass can be presented on your mobile phone.
* All terms and conditions and fees for extra services, such as baggage, seat allocation, special equipment, etc., apply also to passengers who have checked in online.
* Passengers may commence the passport control at the airport (following the security check) no later than 3 hours before departure.
* Passengers must report at the boarding gate no later than the time indicated on the boarding pass, and in any event, according to the updated departure time that appears on the information screens at the airport. It is the passenger’s responsibility to inform themselves of any changes in departure times at the personal area - My Israir - on Israir’s website, through the entity with which the reservation was made or via a text message sent to the phone number provided when checking in.
* The use of the digital check-in system (hereinafter: the “System”) is at the passenger’s own risk. Israir shall not be liable for the use of the system or its performance. Israir explicitly waives any liability, and the passenger explicitly relinquishes any such liability, whether express or implicit, including liability for the check-in process of all or part of the passengers and/or for seat allocation, or the punctuality, reliability and quality of the system, including and without derogating from the above, any liability and right implied by law. Israir does not guarantee that the check-in be process will be available or operate without interruptions or malfunctions.
* The passenger is aware that the system may contain bugs, errors and other problems, which might cause failures that will disturb the check-in process or disrupt it.
* The passenger agrees and acknowledges that under no circumstances will the Company be liable for any damage or loss, including loss of profit, which may result from the use of the system.

Seat allocation procedures for passengers checking in online on Isair’s international flights
* Seats will be allocated automatically and randomly by the check-in system to passengers included in the reservation who are being checked in. Such seat allocation does not entail an extra charge.
* If the reservation includes several passengers, the system will make a single attempt to allocate seats in the same row or adjacent seats.
* If the allocation of adjacent seats is not possible, the system will select seats according to availability (which seats will not necessarily be adjacent), or alternatively, display a seat map of the aircraft and allow seat selection free of charge, except for seats defined as preferred and premium seats, which may be purchased for an extra fee.
* The seat allocation determined by the system may be changed, however, seat selection by passengers entails an extra fee.
* If specific seats have been purchased in advance for some of the passengers, there is no guarantee that the system will allocate seats adjacent to such pre-ordered seats to the other passengers.
* The system does not assign preferred or premium seats. These seats entail an extra fee, as specified in the seat map display.
* The seat selected by the system will be confirmed at the end of the online check-in process. If check-in was not completed, the selected seats may change.
* Seat allocation made at check-in is subject to the change and cancellations procedures specified on Israir’s website: https://shorturl.at/BLbKk .

Ben Gurion Airport operates a separate and designated security check process for passengers who have checked in online and hold a printed or digital boarding pass.
On flights from Terminal 3:
The security check for passengers flying with hand baggage only (without checking in any baggage) will take place at a designated area at the W section of Terminal 3. Thereafter, passengers shall proceed to the hand baggage and body screening, passport control and the duty free shopping area.
On flights from Terminal 1:
The security check for passengers flying with hand baggage only (without checking in any baggage) will take place at a designated area at the D section of Terminal 1. Thereafter, passengers shall proceed to the hand baggage screening and passport control area.
